Brenda Currie Property Management is an independent service based in Palmerston North and also covering Manawatu and the wider region.

My business is relatively small, privately owned and unaffiliated to any real estate company. I love my business managing properties and working with each and every landlord and tenant. It is very important to me that my business stays at a size where it is still personalised and property owners don’t become just numbers.

I have lived in the region for many years and have a very good knowledge of the accommodation and tenancy markets in Palmerston North and the surrounding areas.

I am assisted by my wonderful team who work with me to complete inspections, organise repairs and maintenance and take care of all the behind the scenes administration.

Welcome to my website, I am Brenda, Director of Brenda Currie Property Management Ltd.  I am proud of my very personalised property management service we provide, and very proud of my small team. We all love our work, and all take an enormous amount of pride in all of our roles.

A brief overview of my background. I have owned 2 brand new Motel Leases here in Palmerston North. I was very proactive managing these and living on site, I was very passionate of building great relationships with clients and guests and making a great success of both properties.  I have owned residential rental properties and I still own a commercial property, and have a fantastic commercial Lease in place.  I started this company, BCPM in 2009. I understand the importance of making a success of investments, and a big part of this is good relationships and communication with both Landlords and tenants.  I take my work very seriously and I have a huge amount of knowledge, but still love to learn each day. I am very proactive, very organised and have high expectations of all areas of our work here at Brenda Currie Property Management. I welcome your call to talk about managing your property.

Mitchie Ward

My name is Mitchie, and I have worked in the Rental Property Management industry for around 8 years.  Before that I worked in retail and hospitality – so it is clear that I am a people person!
I have four children who are all grown-up now, and my family continues to grow with the recent arrival of our beautiful grandchildren.
What I love about my job is the busy nature of rental property management, and all the friendly and interesting people I have meet along the way.

Emma Weld

Hello!  I’m Emma and I am a local Palmy gal.  I joined Brenda’s team with a background in sales and administration.  Property management is a completely new venture for me, one I am excited to delve into.

I have 3 young sons, and as you might imagine they do keep me entertained.  They have taught me a great many skills, with multi-tasking being at the top of the list, which I have found is also a big part of a property managers role!

I feel very proud to be part of the team at Brenda Currie Property Management, and I look forward to meeting you all soon!

Kushla Fisher

I’m Kushla, and I come from a dairy farming family in the Wairarapa and after travelling overseas for a few years moved back to Palmerston North to start my own family.  I have two beautiful daughters who constantly keep me on my toes.

Previously, I have worked for finance and accounting companies and it would appear, developed a real passion for spreadsheets.

I first started working with Brenda in 2017 and what I enjoy most about my role is that in this industry no two days are ever the same, and I am fortunate enough to work with a wonderful group of people.
